College Scholarships
Route 31 Foundation offers 4 $500 Scholarships to community members for post-secondary education from an accredited institution. This includes trade and technical programs. Traditional and adult students are encouraged to apply.
Eligibility:
- Applicant must be a high school senior or graduate accepted by or attending an accredited post-secondary educational institution, trade school, or technical program.
- Employees and board members of Route 31 Credit Union and Route 31 Foundation and their immediate family members are not eligible to receive this scholarship.
Requirements to Apply:
- Complete and return application (link below) – Application window is between January 1, 2026 and March 2, 2026
- Write a 200-300 word typed essay on one of the following topics:
- Do you feel financial literacy should be taught in the classroom? Why or why not?
- How does financial knowledge build stronger communities?
- What are your educational and career goals?
