Route 31 Foundation offers 4 $750 Scholarships to community members for post-secondary education from an accredited institution. This includes trade and technical programs. Traditional and adult students are encouraged to apply.
Eligibility:
Applicant must be a high school senior or graduate accepted by or attending an accredited post-secondary educational institution, trade school, or technical program.
Employees and board members of Route 31 Credit Union and Route 31 Foundation and their immediate family members are not eligible to receive this scholarship.

Write a 200-300 word typed essay on one of the following topics:
Do you feel financial literacy should be taught in the classroom? Why or why not?
How does financial knowledge build stronger communities?
